In un documentario sul ciclista Lance Armstrong che ho visto tempo fa, c’è una scena in cui gli piombano in casa due ispettori per l’ennesimo controllo antidoping a sorpresa di sangue e urine. Lui, esasperato da questi controlli, fa riprendere il tutto da una telecamera. I due ispettori chiedono che le riprese vengano interrotte, ma il ciclista si rifiuta dicendo: “Sono il mio sangue e le mie urine”.
Nel tempo libero che dedico a riflettere su temi marginali e tendenzialmente inutili, ho pensato che questa scena può rappresentare una metafora dell’autobiografismo nei libri: persino io, mi sono sempre sentito chiedere se quello che scrivo è autobiografico, e se non mi sento a disagio nel parlare di me nei libri. Ma il punto è proprio quello, come dice il mio amico Lance: “Sono il mio sangue e le mie urine”. Io ho vissuto quelle cose, io ne ho goduto e io ne ho sofferto, e forse non solo è un mio diritto parlarne, ma persino un dovere. Anche perché la privacy, per cui tanto ci si affanna, è una gran cazzata.
Certo, poi Lance si è rivelato un grandissimo dopato, ma anche questo rientra perfettamente nella metafora: è solo fiction, no?
